The project will generate over $150 million in new tax revenue to fund schools, emergency services, and other public priorities while supporting clean energy goals for San Jose and the region.
Protecting Community Health and Safety: The project meets California’s highest safety standards and includes advanced protections like 24/7 monitoring and first responder training. With no smokestacks or moving parts, Jewelflower BESS will operate quietly and cleanly on a small footprint of private land. It brings long-term value to our communities without polluting the air or water.
