The Chicago City Council passed a sweeping ban on all hemp-derived products unless sold through marijuana dispensaries.
This discriminatory ordinance:
- Forces hundreds of neighborhood retailers to close by April 1, 2026
- Eliminates access to legal wellness products for thousands of Chicago families
- Protects corporate dispensary insiders over small business owners
- Ignores federal law that makes hemp products legal
