I am writing as someone who believes we must protect Medicare Advantage for America’s seniors.

CMS recently released its advance rate notice, which is proposing a nearly flat investment in the Medicare Advantage program, even as hospital and medical costs continue to rise. This decision puts seniors at risk of reduced benefits, higher out-of-pocket costs, and fewer in-network providers.

Any cut to Medicare Advantage threatens the benefits millions of seniors and people with disabilities rely on every day, including supplemental benefits, affordable prescriptions, capped costs, and access to high-quality doctors and specialists.

I urge you to speak directly with the White House and CMS, and demand that they protect Medicare Advantage funding. This program delivers better care, affordable options, and stability for seniors. Weakening it now would force seniors like me to face higher costs and fewer choices at a time when health care is already stretching household budgets.

Please stand up for seniors and protect Medicare Advantage.

Simply put, this CMS proposal will not keep up with increased costs of care, and will leave beneficiaries with notable out of pocket cost increases.

Medicare Advantage provides better care, affordable options, and peace of mind for seniors and their families. With this proposal, seniors like me could face fewer benefits and higher costs at a time when health care expenses are already straining budgets.

I urge you to protect Medicare Advantage and ensure there are no policy decisions made that would lead to funding cuts to this critical program. Seniors depend on it and cannot afford to lose it.
