SCR 1001, also known as the Arizona Secure Elections Act, is an important Resolution that will allow voters in 2026 to put several new stipulations into the Arizona Constitution.
It would ensure that only citizens can vote, improve voter ID requirements, and create stricter rules around early voting and when ballots are counted.
SCR 1001 is being heard in the Judiciary and Elections Committee at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday January 21st.
