Pass a Millionaires Tax now!

A Millionaires Tax will help fund education, healthcare, and other basic needs while making our upside-down tax code more fair. Proposals for a Millionaires Tax would: Tax earnings over $1 million annually at 9.9% Raise nearly $3.5 billion per year Apply to only 20,000 (0.2%), the wealthiest people in Washington Washington State is facing a $2.3 billion budget shortfall thanks to federal cuts and billionaire tax breaks. Billionaires, and their friends in Congress, are forcing many of us to choose between groceries and health coverage, and putting more economic pressure on small businesses. Why? To fund trillions in tax cuts for those who need it least - the mega-rich. Legislators need to find new revenue sources, like a Millionaires’ Tax, to fund education, healthcare, and other services Washingtonians rely on. We’re coming together to tell lawmakers: No more cuts, tax the super-rich!
