Commit to Putting American Energy First

By unlocking our natural resources, American workers will lead the world.

Dear [Lawmaker],

The United States has always led the world in technological advancement and energy production. American energy is clean energy, yet China is beating us by a mile in building clean energy technologies, posing a national security risk to the U.S.

That’s why I’m asking you to commit to bringing manufacturing home and bolstering the American economy by producing cleaner, better energy and technology. America and our allies have the highest environmental standards in the world, and by reshoring industry, we will build cleaner products and create good jobs for the American people.

I ask that you:
- Strengthen domestic and allied supply chains through strategic, targeted investment and partnership
- Expedite the permitting process for domestic critical mineral projects
- Prevent reliance on foreign entities of concern (FEOCs) in critical supply chains
- Produce American oil and gas responsibly and export it to our allies

Unlocking the potential of American energy will both protect the environment and strengthen our economy. Thank you for your leadership on this issue.
