Idaho: Concealed Carry Clarification Bill in Committee
Dear [Lawmaker],
As a fellow Idahoan, I encourage you to call for a hearing on House Bill 621 in your committee. House Bill 621 strengthens Second Amendment protections in Idaho by clarifying that the lawful carry of firearms is only prohibited inside courthouses. Local governments are taking advantage of the law by wrongfully denying law abiding Idahoans from accessing government services in public buildings, such as access to property records, tax relief services, and building permits to name a few. Counties are actively infringing on Idahoans' right to keep and bear arms for self-defense by prohibiting access to entire county buildings, just because there is a courthouse in the complex. Again, I urge you to please call for a hearing on House Bill 621. Thank you for all that you do for our great state.
