Senate Bill 1545 is a prescription for disaster. The forced pharmacy closure legislation will close more than 300 local pharmacies – including Fry’s, CVS, Kroger, and Costco. That’s 32%, a full one-third, of our neighborhood pharmacies across the state, and millions of Arizona families like yours will be impacted.
SB1545 also disrupts the mail-order services that veterans, military families, seniors, and rural Arizonans rely on to get their prescriptions at home. It will severely limit access to safe, quality specialty medications for our most vulnerable patients.
-
Reduce access to medications for families, service members, veterans, and rural Arizona.
-
Force hundreds of pharmacies to close.
-
Reduce the number of pharmacies that provide life-saving medications to seniors and patients with complex medical conditions.
-
Eliminate high-quality health care jobs for pharmacists and technicians.
-
Increase costs for patients and families
It is critical the Arizona legislature hear from you – tell them to stop SB1545 and say no to Forced Pharmacy Closure!
