You rely on Uber for affordable trips to LAX, but a major proposal is on the table that could make airport transportation unrealistically expensive.
The Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is considering hiking the curbside rideshare fee by 300%—from $5 to an unprecedented $20 per trip, or $40 roundtrip.
This would make LAX fees more than 3X higher than any other airport in the U.S.
While this will hurt all travelers, it will be especially tough on seniors, families, and mobility-challenged travelers who rely on the convenience of curbside access.
Tell LAX, Don’t Tax Access—Keep Airport Rides Affordable.
