Virginia: Gun Bills in Committee This Thursday
Dear [Lawmaker],
As a fellow Virginian, I urge you to OPPOSE House Bill 702 in your committee. The Assembly should pursue legislation that protects law-abiding gun owners in the Commonwealth, not legislation that penalizes the lawful exercise of a constitutionally protected right. House Bill 702 creates a statewide "give-back" scheme and provides for the destruction of all firearms surrendered to the Commonwealth through the scheme. Again, I urge you to OPPOSE HB 702 in your committee. Thank you for all that you do for Virginia.
