Support Pro-Gun House Legislation
Dear [Lawmaker],
As a fellow resident of Oklahoma and your constituent, I urge you to SUPPORT House Bills 3036, 3180, and 4125, important legislation that protects and strengthens the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens. HB 3036 restores the right to self-defense by eliminating many unnecessary gun-free zones in public parks, fairgrounds, and municipal zoos while protecting the ability to safely store firearms in vehicles on school and government property. HB 3180 would make firearm safety and training optional rather than mandatory for handgun permit applicants, ensuring that responsible citizens are not burdened by unnecessary requirements. HB 4125 establishes a clear and common-sense pathway for nonviolent felons to restore their right to self-defense after receiving a full pardon and maintaining a clean record for at least five years. Again, I urge you to SUPPORT HB 3036, HB 3180, and HB 4125 in the House. Thank you for all that you do for our great state.
