Too often, inner-city students are left behind by systems that don't reflect their realities or recognize their potential. The WHY Project is changing that. Through purpose-driven, culturally responsive programming, WHY helps students uncover their passions to fuel engagement, confidence and long-term success. 
The WHY Project is more than an after-school program. WHY connects classroom learning to real life – integrating student voice, critical thinking and community involvement to ensure young people don't just get through school, they thrive in it and beyond.
