Permitting Reform Microsite
Dear [Lawmaker],
America is at a turning point when it comes to energy. Demand is rising, and families and businesses are feeling the pressure of higher costs. Meeting this moment will require more than resources—it will require action. The challenge is not whether the United States can produce enough energy. The challenge is whether we can build the infrastructure needed to deliver it. Today, the permitting process is too slow, too uncertain, and too often used to delay projects that are critical to our energy future. Reviews stretch on for years; approvals are inconsistent, and projects can be tied up indefinitely. A more efficient and predictable permitting process would change that. Reform can help move projects forward, strengthen supply chains, and support the development of both traditional energy resources and newer technologies. Now is the time to improve a process that no longer meets the needs of the country. I urge you to support permitting reform that allows infrastructure to be built in a more timely and consistent way.
Sincerely,
______
