Support SB 1258

As a fellow Oklahoma resident and your constituent, I respectfully urge you to SUPPORT SB 1258. SB 1258 clarifies Oklahoma law to authorize the lawful transportation and carry of firearms on water vessels by individuals who are otherwise legally permitted to possess a firearm. This measure ensures consistency in the state’s unlawful carry statute while maintaining existing prohibitions for individuals disqualified under state or federal law. The bill does not change locations where firearms are currently prohibited and does not weaken penalties for criminal misuse. I respectfully ask for your support of SB 1258 as it is considered by the House. Thank you for your service to the people of Oklahoma.
