Support HB 4586, HB 5113, HB 4980, HB 4284, and HB 4138

Dear [Lawmaker],

As a fellow resident of Michigan and your constituent, I urge you to SUPPORT legislation that strengthens our state’s Concealed Pistol License system and restores critical constitutional protections for law-abiding citizens.

House Bills 4586, 5113, 4980, and 4284 modernize Michigan’s CPL framework by lowering unnecessary age, administrative, geographic, and financial barriers for responsible gun owners. These commonsense reforms ensure that lawful citizens are not unfairly burdened when exercising their fundamental right to self-defense.

Additionally, I urge your support for House Bills 4138–4140, which repeal Michigan’s red flag laws. These laws undermine due process by allowing firearms to be seized without adequate constitutional safeguards. This bill package restores fundamental rights while ensuring public safety concerns are addressed through lawful means.
