Support the PROTECT USA Act: Send Your Letter

American leaders are working to open global markets to American businesses. Excessive European regulations such as the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) would do the opposite, imposing costs, risks and red tape.

I am writing to urge you to support the PROTECT USA Act (H.R. 4279 / S. 985) and shield American businesses from onerous regulations imposed by officials overseas.

Foreign laws, like Europe’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), threaten our sovereignty and make it more difficult for American businesses to operate and compete globally.

Under your leadership, American businesses are gaining ground in global markets, but laws like CSDDD would do the opposite, adding costs, risks and red tape – and making it harder for U.S. businesses to participate in international trade.

We can’t afford to let European regulators dictate how American companies operate. Our legislative and executive branches of government should defend their authority against this foreign regulatory intrusion.

The PROTECT USA Act will guard U.S. businesses from the expensive foreign rules that hurt American jobs and slow U.S. growth. Congress must act. This is about protecting our economy, our workers, American competitiveness and the right to make our own laws.

Please stop EU overreach from hurting our economy. Vote against bad laws like CSDDD by supporting the PROTECT USA Act.
