Support HB 1551 & SB 1748
Dear [Lawmaker],
As a fellow Florida resident and your constituent, I respectfully urge you to SUPPORT SB 1748. SB 1748 provides needed product liability protections for firearm manufacturers by clarifying that manufacturers may not be held liable for claims based on the absence or presence of certain design features, safety mechanisms, or technologies that are not required under federal law. This legislation helps prevent frivolous lawsuits intended to undermine the lawful firearm industry and protects the rights of law-abiding Floridians. Again, I respectfully urge you to SUPPORT SB 1748 in the Senate Commerce and Tourism Committee before adjournment.
