Texas: Support SB 706
Dear [Lawmaker],
As your constituent, I’m writing to urge you to vote YES on Senate Bill 706 when it comes before the full House. SB 706 will: Recognize every valid out-of-state handgun license and bring Texas’s License To Carry statute in line with our existing permitless-carry law. Eliminate contradictory rules that confuse peaceable visitors, new residents, and traveling Texans alike. Reaffirm Texas’s leadership in defending the right to keep and bear arms while respecting other states’ law-abiding permit holders. The session’s clock is running. Please stand up for the Second Amendment and pass SB 706 without amendments. Thank you for safeguarding the rights of responsible Texans and those who visit our great state.
