Support Indiana HB 1221, SB 176, SB 177, and HB 1274

As a resident of Indiana and a law-abiding gun owner, I urge you to SUPPORT HB 1221, SB 176, SB 177, and HB 1274.
HB 1221 ensures that antique firearms, including black powder handguns, are treated consistently with federal law by exempting them from background check requirements applied to modern firearms. SB 176 safeguards shooting ranges by prohibiting local governments from imposing zoning, land-use, or permitting restrictions more stringent than state law, helping ensure these facilities remain available for firearm safety training, hunter education, and responsible gun ownership.
SB 177 protects the rights of gun owners by ensuring that a person may not waive certain requirements regarding the return of a firearm to its rightful owner as part of a plea agreement, making any purported waiver invalid and unenforceable. HB 1274 protects lawful gun owners from insurance mandates by preventing insurers from requiring posting of gun-free zone notices or penalizing policyholders for failing or refusing to do so.
Please support these commonsense measures and help preserve the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Hoosiers.
