Our state employees deserve access to the medication they and their doctors agree best fits their health needs.
But Delaware lawmakers passed a bill, SJR 7, that instructs the state to consider ways to cut prescription drug costs. One provision would tie drug prices in Delaware to federal price caps set in Washington. But these price caps are already driving up out of pocket costs for Medicare patients and causing local pharmacies to stop stocking certain medications.
Write Governor Meyer today. Tell him to protect patient access to the treatments doctors prescribe and veto SJR 7.
