Our community is increasingly run by out-of-touch individuals who recklessly spend our money while treating residents with disdain.
Recently, Sawgrass residents proposed the following reforms:
– Holding at least one HOA meeting annually outside business hours so that non-retirees could more easily attend
– Notifying residents before making significant expenditures beyond a certain dollar amount
– Sending out a summary of the agenda for master board meetings ahead of time
Rather than accepting these reforms, SPCA president John Flynn and Controlled Access Committee chairman Gerry Klingman have removed dissenting voices from committees and banned individuals from meetings.
