San Diego’s ALPR program has been vital to protecting our community’s safety. Eliminating funding for ALPRs would be a huge step backward for public safety in San Diego.

ALPRs help first responders stop attempted kidnappings, recover millions in stolen property, and solve various types of crime, including violent crimes like hit-and-runs and murders – all while being governed by strict rules that protect people’s privacy.
