Support Pro-Gun Senate Legislation SB 1278, SB 1512, SB 2094 & SB 2096
Dear [Lawmaker],
As a fellow resident of Oklahoma and your constituent, I urge you to SUPPORT Senate Bills 1278, 1512, 2094, and 2096, important measures that protect the rights of law-abiding firearm owners. SB 1278 would establish a sales tax-free period for the purchase of rifles, shotguns, and pistols. SB 1512 allows government authorities to authorize concealed carry within certain government buildings, vehicles, parks, and municipal zoos. SB 2094 prohibits law enforcement agencies from destroying seized firearms and instead requires them to be sold to qualified buyers through lawful channels. SB 2096 updates firearm possession laws and establishes a process to restore rights for individuals with a single nonviolent felony conviction who have completed their sentence and remained crime-free for at least five years. Again, I urge you to SUPPORT SB 1278, SB 1512, SB 2094, and SB 2096 in the Senate. Thank you for all that you do for our great state.
