Oppose Anti-Gun Legislation (S.1425, A.3789, A.6211)
Dear [Lawmaker],
As a fellow resident of New Jersey and your constituent, I urge you to OPPOSE S.1425, A.3789, and A.6211. S.1425/A.3789 unfairly targets lawful firearms dealers by holding them responsible for information they cannot access, even after complying with all state and federal background check requirements. This legislation threatens honest businesses that follow the law and does nothing to improve public safety. A.6211 expands penalties for so-called “trespass” with a firearm in an effort to undermine the Supreme Court’s Bruen decision. By using trespass laws to expand “sensitive places” and impose severe penalties, this bill puts New Jersey concealed carry permit holders at serious risk of losing their rights for inadvertent violations. Again, I respectfully urge you to OPPOSE S.1425, A.3789, and A.6211. Thank you for your time and for your service to our great state.
