President Trump was clear — no more lawsuits against the energy industry. The time for an America-First energy agenda is now. Yet, Louisiana continues to sue our own energy producers in the coastal lawsuits. These coastal lawsuits cost our economy over $100 million a year. How are we supposed to drive American energy independence when we’re being held hostage by greedy, out-of-touch trial lawyers? Your inaction tells us you’d rather own Louisiana’s trial lawyer economy than stand with President Trump to create real economic growth. We need pro-growth, pro-business policymaking in Louisiana that supports the President’s agenda to achieve energy dominance. The hardworking people of Louisiana are watching.
