Iowa: OPPOSE the Adoption of S-3050 Today!

Dear [Lawmaker],

As a resident of Iowa and strong supporter of the Second Amendment. I encourage you to vote "NO" in opposition to the adoption of S-3050.

SJR7: As introduced, this legislation proposed a constitutional amendment that would ensure Iowans have a right to hunt, fish, and trap. In recent years, anti-hunting organizations across the nation have pushed their agenda to restrict or, in some instances, outright ban hunting, fishing, and trapping. This change to the bill's original language would undermine the intent of the bill by robbing Iowa’s sportsmen of any legal recourse in the event their rights are not upheld. Unfortunately, after witnessing the success of other Right to Hunt and Fish Amendments across the country, some industries view this as an opportunity to create a legal shield protecting their interests at the expense of Iowa’s hunting, fishing, and trapping community.

Again, I urge you to vote NO and oppose the S-3050 language. Thank you for all you do for the great state of Iowa.
