I specifically request your support for critical federal programs, including the National Science Foundation (NSF)—with an emphasis on its Directorate for Technology, Innovation and Partnerships (TIP)—as well as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science, and the Department of Defense (DOD) Basic Research, Applied Research, and Advanced Technology Development programs.

These programs play a uniquely important role in the U.S. innovation ecosystem. Federal investments in these agencies translate into the discoveries, technologies, and industries that drive economic growth, job creation, and national competitiveness. Sustaining these investments is essential for maintaining American leadership in science and technology and America’s long-term prosperity.
