Support Pro-Gun Legislation HB 1052 and SB 176

As a fellow resident of Indiana and your constituent, I urge you to SUPPORT House Bill 1052 and Senate Bill 176 as they advance in the Indiana General Assembly.
House Bill 1052 ensures that antique firearms, including black powder handguns, are treated consistently with federal law by exempting them from background check requirements that apply to modern firearms. This legislation corrects an inconsistency in Indiana law and protects law-abiding collectors and firearm owners from unnecessary regulation.
Senate Bill 176 strengthens protections for shooting ranges by prohibiting counties, cities, and towns from adopting zoning, land-use, or permitting requirements that are more restrictive than state law. This measure helps prevent local governments from regulating shooting ranges out of existence and recognizes their essential role in firearm safety training, hunter education, and responsible gun ownership.
