I am writing regarding the recent discussions in Washington to prevent institutional investors from purchasing single family homes. Such action would result in negative impacts to my family and our ability to work towards building a better future.
By living in a professionally managed rental home, we have been able to live in a great neighborhood, have full-time maintenance services, and receive additional supportive services to strengthen our quality of life.  
Without the opportunity to rent our current home, we would not be able to have the necessary community access, space, or flexibility to support our current stage in life – holding us back from building a foundation for future success.
I respectfully ask that you thoughtfully consider the potential impacts of these policy proposals and focus on solutions that support hardworking Americans and the opportunity to rent their home either by necessity or by choice. 
Renters matter too.
