Support Pro-Industry Legislation

House Bill 1551 provides important products liability protections for lawful firearm manufacturers by clarifying that manufacturers should not be held liable for claims based on the absence or presence of design features, safety mechanisms, or technologies that are not required under federal law. This legislation preserves legitimate consumer protections while ensuring that lawful businesses are not subjected to unreasonable or duplicative liability standards.
