Pennsylvania: Oppose HB 1866 in the Full House
Dear [Lawmaker],
As your constituent, I urge you to OPPOSE HB 1866 when it comes to the House floor for a final vote. Although HB 1866 is presented as addressing “machine gun conversion devices,” the bill is flawed. It creates state law with language differing from federal statute, which will cause problems with interpretation and lead to misapplied enforcement. In addition, HB 1866 does not contain the exceptions that exist in federal law, leaving law-abiding citizens vulnerable to prosecution. Please vote NO on HB 1866 and oppose any new gun control measures in Pennsylvania. Thank you for your service to our district and to the Commonwealth.
