Oklahoma farmers earn over $51 million a year from wind lease payments. For many families, that check is what keeps the farm in the family—especially during drought or when crop prices crash. Your legislation would take that option away. You'd be telling farmers they can't make their own decisions about their own land. These leases don't hurt anyone. The land still gets farmed. The family still owns it. They just have extra income to keep it that way. Don't play politics with family farms. Let farmers decide for themselves. Thank you for your service.
