Washington: CPL Fee Increase Added to Education Committee Bill
Dear [Lawmaker],
As a fellow resident of Washington, I urge you to OPPOSE House Bill 2456 in your committee. HB 2456 increased the concealed pistol license fee by $100, requiring lawful CPLs to fund a program that would dismiss criminal charges for the unlawful possession of a firearm for juveniles. This change amounts to a 277% increase for new CPL applicants and a renewal increase of 312%! Thank you for all that you do for our state.
